Position: Embedded Software Engineer – ADAS / AUTOSAR

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with strong AUTOSAR expertise to join our automotive software development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software solutions for ADAS systems, ensuring high-quality software design, testing, and integration in automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software for ADAS applications.

• Develop and maintain software using Embedded C and device drivers.

• Work on AUTOSAR architecture and module configuration.

• Develop low-level software design documentation.

• Analyze software issues and determine the root cause of defects.

• Prepare and execute unit testing and integration testing.

• Participate in software safety analysis and compliance activities.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality automotive software solutions.

• Perform debugging and troubleshooting using industry tools.

• Follow Automotive SPICE SWE.1 to SWE.6 processes during development.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in Embedded Software Design and Development.

• Proficiency in Embedded C programming.

• Good experience in Python scripting.

• Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR development tools.

• Experience working in the Automotive domain.

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Technical Tools & Technologies

• AUTOSAR Tools: Davinci Developer, Davinci Configurator, EB Tresos

• Microcontrollers: Aurix TC3X / TC4X

• Debugging Tools: Trace-32

• Communication Protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN

• Code Quality Tools: Vector CAST, Coverity, PRQA, MISRA

• Version Control: GitHub

Functional Safety & Standards

• Experience in Functional Safety (FuSa) requirement creation and development.

• Knowledge of Safety Analysis techniques such as:

  • DFMEA

  • DFA

  • FTA

• Experience in state machine handling.

Additional Technical Experience

Experience in the following modules will be an advantage:

• PMIC

• WDG

• MPU

• E2E

• EyeQ

• OTA module configuration (AUTOSAR tools)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) updates.

• Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet.

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:

• Electronics & Communication Engineering

• Computer Science

• Electrical Engineering
